Moving to Manchester for Work — Any Advice from United Fans?

I’ve been thinking about how different life would be living in Manchester, especially being close enough to Old Trafford to catch matches regularly. Supporting United from a distance is one thing, but being able to experience the matchday atmosphere in person would be brilliant.

For anyone who lives in Manchester or has moved there, which areas would you recommend for someone who wants reasonable transport links to Old Trafford, affordable housing, and a decent community outside football?

I’m also curious about the property side of things. If someone were considering buying a place rather than renting, would it be worth getting professional real estate advisory services to understand the local market and avoid making a rushed decision? Or is it better to rent for a while first and get a feel for the different neighbourhoods?
